the Pit Workout vs. Bas' tapes

which of these two do you guys think is the better all around workout? Bas Rutten's or The Pit Workout. I have Bas' and I love it but since this one is only $20 I was thinking about trying it.

I know Bas' is supposed to be the best. I haven't ANYTHING on the Pit workouts. I'm looking forward to hearing some reviews.

edit: Just checked the preview. Looks like the cardio class at my MT school. Not bad, but I've seen Bas' DVD for his workout, looks much better,, but its hard to tell with such a limited pre-view.

Pit=hot chicks thouhg
Bas= well, has Bas....

The pit workouts are pretty good. I think Bas is slightly better though. You can rent the Pit Workout through Netflix if you want to check it out.

I bought the Pit DVD for under $15 dollars. I like it.

The good thing: Simplicity
The workouts are old-school, hardcore, and pretty tough. No complicated movements or weird bodyweight-culture Nazism (for lack of a better term). You can do them with very little or no equipment.

The bad thing: Simplicity
I only learned a few new movements, and the workout's don't provide that much new material we haven't seen before.

The other thing is, the "Upper Body" workout consists entirely of push ups and other pushing excersises. There are no pulling movements. This means that while your tri's, chest, and certain parts of your shoulders get a good workout, your bi's, lats, lower back and other pull muscles are almost entirely neglected.

Overall, it's a great deal for the price. You get 3 hardcore workouts (Upper Body, Lower Body, and Full Body), each about an hour long, plus a special section of techniques, handwrapping, kicks, etc.
