Pains During Working out

Question

I have been working a ton of cardio as of late also while going to the gym 3 times a week doing a full body workout...My diet is fine im eating all my meals and watching the junk food as well. However recently it seems while doing my run which is a 3 mile run completed in 21-23 mins with a HUGE uphill sprint at the end I am getting these terrible pains in my abdomen. I only train my abd muscles 2-3 times weekly but do a full core workout at the gym. IS this too much? This past week I only worked my abs 1 time but surly enough after not jogging for 3 days & on the 4th i still recieve throbbing pain that almost grinds me to a hault. Should I see a doctor about this or just take it easy for another few days?

where in the abdomen?

is it a lung/intercostal exhaustion thing? is it a cramped feeling? is it like you just did a bunch of situps?

if its in your lower abdomen you may want to get it looked at. dont want to rupture your appendix. running causes alot of gravity to strain on your intestines.

"ab" work will make your "abs" feel tight you shouldn't be feeling any big time pain from muscle sorness, my guess would be your not staying properly hydrated, make sure your getting enough water and enough electrolytes etc. to keep properly hydrated.

i'm the complete opposite of standard. i cannot drink liquids before i go for an intense run otherwise i get fricking horrible cramps that start in the gut area but slowly move up to my chest, regardless of whether or not i did ab work.

I actually didn't mean on your run or just before but i've noticed if my water intake during the day is low, then i will get craps running alot easier, that may not have been clear in the earlier post though though
