Pain while high-kicking

Hi, it's been almost 1 month now since iam experiencing some weird pain in the highest part on my left leg (between leg and groin actually) everytime i try to do roundhouse highkick with the right leg.
Although i dont have any pain when i just do high front-kick.
Anyone already experienced something similar ?

Thanks

I know the pain.
Your best bet is to rest it, and stretch it. Try not to kick with it for a week or so.
If its persistent, see a doc.

For Gods sake, DONT STRETCH IT!
Dont do leg kicks at all, should heal itself in a week or two.

see a doctor if you can. seriously. I wouldn't trust forum-goers with medical advice.

double.

Hot moist towel or soak will bring blood and help the area. I do not know which muscle you are referring to but if you can gently massage it, you may help it.

When you decide to stretch, hold back stretching far. NEVER stretch until you feel pain. The most stimulation you should feel is a mild discomfort.

Actually i took a break during 2 weeks without doing any stretching nor kicking.
The pain was still here, but it's not really that harsch (and i don't think it come from muscles, probably a tendon) so i decided to train and stretch again..

Ok, i just trained over the pain and now it's more painful than it ever was. I can just feel it when i walk. The pain itself is bearable but annoying as fuck.
Well, i guess i'll to have to take a 1-2 month break with the high-kick and stretch.

Never train over pain. Bodybuilding mentality is not the same as injury pain. Pain is your body telling you that it is messes up and be nice. Not pushing through a lactic acid build-up.

When you walk, do you feel it on the leg that is lagging behind? In the front of the hip near the flexor area? Hard to know what it is without knowing where it is.

Are your hips and lower back generally tight?

I doubt 1-2 months.

Ice the leg. No, wait, use heat. In fact, just take some ice and stick in the microwave to be sure you cover your bases.

Seriously, I'd be inclined to not use it and let it heal. If you must throw a kick, then think of it as a lesson in practicing low kicks.
