October Challenge: BW Deads Revisited
October Challenge:
BW Deads Revisited
What to do:
Perform as many BW deadlifts as possible in 4 mins
Rules- By Bodyweight deadlifts i mean the weight of the bar is equal to your bodyweight.
- Choose a weight closest to your BW, if you weigh inbetween 5 lb increments round up. If you weigh for example 222.5 then you should do 225 and not 220.
- Conventional, Sumo, Semi Sumo and Zercher styles will be allowed.
- Once you pick a style you may not change it during the 4 mins
- You must use a barbell, olympic or standard.
- You will be allowed to use the following gear only belts, chalk and/or straps.
- You may not "bounce" the plates off the ground, a dead lift involves lifting a dead weight
- No Dropping the weight, you must hold the bar throughout each rep
- All reps must be locked out fully.
- There are no breaks in time, once you begin the workout you may not stop the clock at anytime.
Winners Prize
This month only the winner will recieve a $50 Gift Certificate donated by Fitness Depot of Richmond Hill thanks to Reloaded.
The winner will have to submit a video showing their workout, if they fail to provide one we will move down the list untill someone with a video is selected. I will post more detials and conditions to come - Thumper75/75 *

Hmmm... I recall this before... I also recall gettin' owned... Maybe I should try again, although I think Finny takes it again.

lol this is going to be interesting. I have some catching up to do with the conditioning challenges. Maybe now that I have more time I will be able to do them more often.
