Conditioning Discussion With gas like that, you'll be done & down after one round. Let's work on your cardio a little bit...

Nice little workout

Well last night after BJJ class me and a few people went out to get a few drinks and well..we ended up closing the bar so I couldn't get up this morning and go to the gym like I do every other weekday so I worked on my cardio tonight at home and tried somethin new that tore me up fast, so here's the workout, first half mile warm up jog, then I got the 12 lb. sledge hamer and pylon cones marked off about 100 yards (I live on 6 acres) and ran a hard pyrimid run with the sledge. at one end I hit it on the ground once then ran back and did it twice and so on untill I got to 10. then I took a 2 min. break and worked my way back down 10 to 1. then after a about a 5 min. rest I put the cones about 15 to 20 yards appart and did another pyramid run this time with burpies instead of sledge hammer swings. needless to say at the end of the two burpie pyrimid runs I was on my back sucking wind and counting stars. I enjoyed this workout and it was very effective for me and mabee some of you might like it also

Look up Sean Sherk caveman training..that is insane.
That seems like a good explosion excersise..but dont take such long rests if your training cardio...and sprint the distances if they are only like 10 ft. apart.
