My friend got out of marines just a year or less ago...and he's 160 lb and shredded.....he also seems to do well on anaerobic conditioning vs aerobic...he did 1.5 mile run in 10:24 or something like that(i suspect he was sandbagging). But the burpees I timed with a stop watch...so ti was pretty crazy...i knew i wasnt going to probably double his time...

I am hopefully going to try to get it under 7 minutes...unless i decided to do a diff exercise like hindu squats, mountain climbers, or something else entirely.

for this challenge tho there's no jump right?

when my friend and I did this challenge we did it without a jump...because I thought it said no need for tuck jump or anything else...hmm...either way...it was hard enough...

"Leap up as high as possible from the squat position."

From the link to the article provided in the first post, by, I might add, Ross.

ahh, no wonder. For me the jumping part (aka explosive action) is by far the hardest. But still he had a decent time and I'm curious to see what his time is with a jump.

oh damn...i read the rules a while back and never checked back...ok...this would definitely make it much harder...plus you guys have a push up...the way i did it involved only dropping down ,kicking feet out into a locked out push up position then kicking feet back underneath and standing up into a fully standing position...ok i'll give the push up variation with jump a try next week.

what's the difference between 8 count bodybuilders and push up burpee with a jump? 2 push ups vs 1? no jump vs jump?

So it's with the jump....doesn't that mean the higher you jump, the longer your time (over 100 burpees)?
