Didnt manage to do it when I said I was gonna - however - I did manage to do it today.

But it didnt go according to plan!!!

The first 4 sets went fine and according to plan - but the 5th set I started early after only 15 secs of rest and the last set of 20 took me longer than Id hoped.

Total new time for 100 Burpees inc Pressups is 5mins 46secs @ 165lbs. and was a fucking mess afterwards!

Managed to shave 11 secs off my time!! pleased but not what I was after - more training to follow!!!

I tried using a 24in box last night and rammed my head right into a floor joist. I had to get stitches.

I weigh 180 lbs and had a time of 9m41s which isn't particularly great, but I'm quite new to this fitness marlarkey.

I broke it into sets of 20 and my rest time increased from 20 secs to 30 secs and finally to 40 secs on the last one.

I really struggled with the last 20, but I kept good form throughout.

And just because I have the stats - I peaked at 174 heart bpm with an average of 165

Oh and btw, I'm going to try Newt's recovery theories while I try to improve on this time. Today I tried recovering while stood up and it took me 11mins to get below 100bpm

Well, I'm gonna try the December Challenge one more time, and then I'm going to have to murder my old time to get back in the Top 5 for this one.

Thanks, CelebritySexist and -Jonny-, for making have to go through this hell again.

Merry New year to you all and all that!

As you know ive been doing 5 x 20 with 20 sec breaks.

Just done 4 x 25 with 30 sec breaks - should have given me a time of 5.30. Twas a nice idea - but came in slow at 5.37 - Its always that last set!!! Plus Christmas weight too!!

My HR was throught the roof - I couldnt count quick enuff, but after 2mins30 of stopping my HR was below 100

My recovery method was lying on the floor dry heaving - if that helps?

I found that a 16in box is a high as I can jump without having to go outside. Ross uses 16in in his new video. Anyway last night I came in the 9min range so using a box added at least 2min to my time but Ive used the box a few times already and I would say the first time probably almost added 4 min to my best time.

Using a box for the jump kicks ass because it feels like you are really moving hard and fast. I don't land flat footed on the box, I just hit the top edge of the top with my instep and reverse direction as fast as I can.
