9:21 @ 160 pounds

as i was recovering from burpee 100 a white chick sat down on the next mat to stretch and said "if it makes u feel any better, i'm impressed."

allllllriiight

anyway, this was my first time so i have some questions for u veteran burpee challengers

1. My legs were abso-f*ckin-lutely shot but my breathing was ok. ok meaning i was winded but not as bad or as long as sprint work leaves me. is this normal, or was i not doing it hard enough.

2. I did the 100 and then did a light jog to reduce the lactic acid build up, but then called it a day. Is the 100 burpee challenge a workout by itself? or was i supposed to do other stuff that workout to make it a good workout?

3. How often do most of u guys do this? I'd like to better my time but i dont really want to do this extremely regularly... that may sound stupid

1. My legs and lungs are scorched after this, but more my legs. How high you jump will probably effect this.

2. The first time I did the 100, that was good enough. Now I do tabata burpees or a 100 on my current core/cardio days.

3. I wouldn't do it more than once a week, but I'm sure there are people who would/could/do and would be ok. Depends on what else you have on your plate, training wise.

Watch this. You'll see aftet the pulls and slams Ross starts the burpees. This is pretty much how I do them, and if you watch the timer he averages about 2 seconds per rep. Hope that helps.

Lol man that is great she came up and said that. I've added doing a few sets of 10 a 1-3 times a week depending on what else i do after seeing how hard they work you. These are good and I think if you do the part where you squat touch the floor and kick out easy so it doesn't bang your shoulders, you should be fine.

6:03 at 70kgs/154lbs. I tend to go 30, 20, 15, 15, 10, 10; next time I'll break it down to 10 burpees on, 10 seconds off. Talk about a morning wake-up...

Sunday roast:
5:33 at 154lbs; 10 burpees on, 10 seconds off until the final 30, which I broke into 2 sets of 15. Cutting off 30 seconds in 4 days should seem like good progress even to the least generous critic.
