Nah, I had to take a couple short breaks to catch my breath a bit. I didn't want to take too long though so that the lactic acid could build up.

The bike sprints I've been doing helped manage quad fatigue this time around. My wife timed me so I didn't have to worry about the clock. But I felt like utter death afterwards and like I said, my head is killing me. My knees are starting to hurt now too.

How the fuck harderthansatan managed 5:12 is beyond me. I will say this, my volume approach to burpees helped this time around. Kind of like building a burpee base.

Interesting. I totally want to get into some elite times liek you guys on this, and think it is very possible. What was yoru approach to getting a good time? And how has it helped your poerformance in sports, or how would you speculate it would? I imagine it makes you a beast machine.

This time around I would do higher volume burpee sessions for time. I would do 200 and 300 burpees etc.

Can't really tell you how it has effected performance in other sports because I do other forms of conditioning training as well.

Ah yes, i forgot you're the conditioning mod after all.

I might do something along the lines of xtrainer GPP.. but with only burpees. that should do the trick i'd imagine.

195lbs
100 in 9:37

EDIT: its been like 5 minutes now and my left calf is swelling up like a mofo. I did this right after I ran for 20 minutes, and I just started working on my conditioning like under a month ago. Not good for me . I will try this challenge again in a week or two and my goal is under 8:00 then.

That's a pretty good time for a relative beginner.

Some interesting burpee bits in my log today, if you wanna check it out...and now I have to re-test so I can beat Sonny...but I don't see it happening during this max strength training phase I'm in right now.
