need to drop 40 pounds... plz help!!

i used to be into weight lifting/bodybuilding, but have been training in BJJ and MMA for a while now. i have totally changed up everything... i eat less and train harder/more frequently. i don't do anymore heavy weights, and do mostly stability, power, and core exercises, but with light weight and a lot of reps.

i've been training twice a day now for probably like 6 weeks, and so far have lost 10 pounds, but it seems to have stalled. i started off at 5'9" and 230 lbs. @ ~9% bf... now i'm 220 and prolly about 8% bf. i feel like eating less would just slow my ****bolism down, and make my body store more fat because i'd be starving myself. any thoughts??

here is my current routine:

Monday - Morning BJJ / Afternoon Weight Train

Tuesday - Morning Bag Work (heavy, speed, double, reflex bags) / Night MMA

Wednesday - Morning BJJ / Afternoon Weight Train

Thursday - Morning Bag Work / Night BJJ

Friday - Morning BJJ / Afternoon Sprint+Speed Drills on Soccer Field

Saturday - Morning MMA / Night Full Body Circuit w/Weights

Sunday - Off

i jump rope a few times per week too, and i can go for probably about 10 minutes straight dancin all over the place, switchin up foots, criss crossin, etc. only problem is it gives me horrible shin splints, so i have to limit it!

Start the day off with 400 pushups 400 sit ups 80 chin ups and 80 dips. then after that run 6 miles.

In the evening do as many suicids on a soccar field as you can.
Actually i really dont know how thart will work for you but i did that over a span of about a month and i lost a lot of weight.

Weight management is a function of diet. Exercise, even on the scale of the madness suggested above, is approximately 7% of the solution. It's always easier not to eat it than it is to burn it off.

To wit: D&S FAQ. Berardi's 7 Habits. Fitday.com. Between them you can easily work out a safe and sensible calorie restricted eating plan. Going carb-free except for breakfast and peri-workout is a simple rule that got me from where you are now down to a strong 170 in 4-5 months. It's really nowhere near as hard as it seems, it just takes a bit of time and planning.

ok i used to record everything on fitday.com, but stopped a while ago. i guess what i'll do is start weighing out all my food again and getting some exact numbers, then start reducing intake by about 500 calories per week. i don't want to lose my strength either, so i want to take it slow. i am pretty confident that if i drop down to ~185 over a period of 6-7 months, i'll be able to retain my strength.

do you have any suggestions on what type of macronutrient ratio i should be on?? like protein/carbs/fats 50/30/20 .... somethin like that??
