my "gym" has a pole in middle of nowhere

I have a decent sized basement, one sides got weights and one side is just bare for sparring etc. There is a ****l pole right slab in the middle of my basement, is there any creative workout i can do with this pole? Like wrap it up for punching? Put a rope on it for tugging? Put elastic around it for shadow boxing? Anything ideas?

You could try suspension training or band training off it. You can do a search in the forum for TRX to pull up what suspension training is.

For bands it's pretty much the same thing, only you have a progressive load rather then a fixed one.

Ross attaches flexbands to it for some different excersices, check out his vids you will see some indoor sprinting, some different ways to train punches with it, some one said secure a belt and do throws, you propably better of with the flexband for this to, Fedor does this in that old trainingvid of him and that is suposedly standard practise in russia to do against flexbands.

So that is propably a good place to start.
