Muscular Endurance

I have been working out for about 4 months(seriously) using a mainly bodyweight type of training(based on Ross' Enamaits stuff) and I am having a very difficult time recovering from any workouts and my muscular endurance in particular I have been struggling with...

Anyone have any ideas as to why I am struggling to recover from workouts and or why I am having trouble improving my muscular endurance??

Overtraining? Not leaving enough time for recovery? Too much volume per workout? Not hydratiing enough pre/post workout? Poor overall nutrition? Low protein intake?

if you're having problems recovering after workout try drinking a protein shake after each session. it should speed up recovery. other than that try not to work out the same muscle group 2 days in a row. your body needs at least a day rest in between. also check your diet. you might need to adjust it if your body is really fatigued after workouts.

The best thing I do is static stretching afterwards and contrasting showers.

Did you develop an aerobic base with LSD running?

I feel I'm being dramatic, but thats what the olympic boxing/judo teams do along with trad lifting.

Sorry.

Overtraining- Don't think so

Too much volume- Don't think so

Not enough hydration- Possible, I always struggle to drink enough

Low protein- Possible, no money for shakes so I am making do with solid foods

Any possibility it could be linked to another "symptom" I have been experiencing since puberty which is being constantly tired no matter how much sleep I get?

Thinking it might have something to do with a low hormone level or something(probably a small chance but I want to make sure)

Work towards 4 litres a day; be diligent before and after working out. A dehydrated body is an inefficient machine.

If you are still growing (teenager) and you are training hard, then I'd bet money you aren't covering your nutritional macro needs. At the very least, make sure your post workout nutriton is composed of high quality protein, carbs, and fats. Think tuna, chicken, whole grain pasta, oats, avaocados (great fat source), milk, etc etc

Also, late-night feedings would be appropriate also. In this case, learn to love cottage cheese!

God I hate cottage cheese...

I do eat a lot of tuna, chicken, eggs and peanut butter though
