Mma Routine

im just curious what are ur mma routines? when do u do strength training? how often? When do u do conditioning? how often, skill, etc.

i have a plan right now..but im not sure if its correct. I posted something like this b4, but i cant seem to find it anymore.

MONDAY TUESDAY WEDNESDAY THURSDAY FRIDAY SATURDAY SUNDAY
AM AM AM AM AM AM AM
HIIT strength HIIT Strength condit/endur Plyo

PM PM PM PM PM PM
box/plyo wrestling boxing/condit muay thai mma/wrestling Strength


im doing bill starr's 5x5. Is that oK? or should i consider something else? my goals are: Concentrate on wrestling, strength and conditioning.
If possible please post your programs so i might have a better idea how its suposd to be. Thanks

have you taken a look at the training logs? should answer most of your questions.

the 5x5 is fine, alot depends on where you are in your training.

have you done a split like this before? working out twice a day is not a good starting place if your not already on a rather high level of activity.

hahha duhh..stupid me..haha, thanks, didnt think of that.

and yea.. i tried it , and it was tiring but it felt productive. At first i couldnt wrestle well, after str. trianing, but i get used to it. Oh one more thing, who do u thnk has a pretty nice workout log in there? anyone u reccomend?

There are alot of really good logs, i don't think anyone has one thats much like your plan (i could be wrong). Most are basically power lifting ones though, good information in them but not the best if your focus is not the same, i would look over Brandon MacRea's, Ian Coes and Smashius's for some good ideas on training and how much lifting they do.
