Ya, depends on what you're using it for really. If your getting one to slam/throw etc. I suggest making your own. If you need a "bounce" one, go to a gym and try a few out to see. No point on spending $40 on something that provides little challenge.
If you check Rosstraining.com and go to "equipment" articles you can find out how to make both. Just be sure to use shoo goo. I tried something else before and it didn't work.
