I would like to participate in this. I know I'm a white belt, and you don't know me but i don't think that posting a bunch of 'i would tap that' 'i wouldn't tap that' posts in the OT should be a pre-requisit to paricipating.

That being said how about some sort of chin up challenge for april? I know we just did brurpies but I over heard some Kin students at my gym talking about burpie chin ups (bascally jump to the bar and do a chin up back down to a burpie) - so maybe chinup/burpies for May to give the burpies a break?

The whitebelt rule is not a perfect one i will give you that. However with how many sad people are out there who come onto forums making up shit it is a justified one. I will make an amendment to the rule because a few people have expressed interest.

Whitebelts will be allowed to enter into monthly challenges but will not be eligible to receive the championship belt.

I have a suggestion for future Challenges involving burpees.

When doing burpees we should have to do asskickers/backscratchers on the jump. This ensures a consistent height on each jump, but is less demanding then knee tucks.

If anyone else has other suggestions for maintaining height consistency, that's fine be me.

The box works fantastic for me because not only does it make every single jump high enough but you have to jump off hard to clear the box enough to avoid knocking out teeth. Unfortunately with all the people who have avoided the ab wheel burpees out of being too cheap to spend 10-. I doubt anyone would invest in a trip to the lumber store.

I think people are avoiding it because it's 100 ab wheel burpees, an abwheel is a fantastic tool, even if you don't want to do this months challenge you should still own one.

We need something for the summer that involves the chance of drowning. 50 meter swim, then dumbell swings or something.

Also, a training partner of mine suggested some military style grass drills.
Iron Chair x 30 seconds
T-Bones x 10
Chinups x 5
or something similar

Well, summer would be perfect for any SFC or interval running, since NO ONE can bitch out due to weather.

Swimming, sounds good, I'd die for sure though.
