The best challenges, IMO, are the ones that we can head into the basement or into the backyard and do anytime. The deadlift challenge, Cindy, the Magic 60, and the snatch challenge all had this quality. They got the most participation and were the most competitive.

Let's limit gear and special requirements. For example, it's very hard for me to find a not-in-use full size soccer field right now, especially with my work schedule. It sucks to have the DESIRE to do a challenge, and yet not be unable to do it.

My 2 cents.
Try the challenge and see what you think. After constant repititions, you're not going to be able to move your arms. The only material that's required is two dumbbells, which is very easy to attain. I made this challenge, because I just tore my meniscus, in my left knee. Might as well give us injured people a chance!

This may be true, but it's still not much of a conditioning challenge. You may just have to sit out a couple if you can't do a full body exercise.

**Not being a dick, I had to sit out quite a while myself. Had shoulder surgery. **

X i do agree, those challenges are easy to fit in and have a higher participation rate but it's really limited on the system you can work on. While i did know going in that the track and field challenges would have less people a more aerobic workout should be included from time to time.

I'm always up for ideas and if alot of guys want a particular challenge then it'll make the cut, but it is tricky to find a challenge that is A) different B) measusrable C) involve equipment most people have access too.

I've been talking to a few other sources to get challenges so hopefully that will pan out and i'll have some cool ideas for you guys

I'm in complete agreement with you. I train at home. If there is running involved I map out the distance on my street, or in my backyard for short sprints. I have no soccer field or C2 rower so that's two in a row I'm sitting out. It would be worse if I were competing for the top spots like you. The soccer one I probably could have improvised if I really wanted to go to the trouble with some markers on my street, but I would not have felt very safe doing the pushups.

maybe this is a dumb idea but maybe after a while we should repeat a challenge from a previous month to see if progress has been made.

also I vote for GPP next month
