Making weight...again

Hi, first off I'll explain why I want to cut some weight. I've qualified for the Cadet (1993-1994 birth years) National Championships in North Dakota for Greco Roman wrestling. I've decided that I want to go the 160 pound weight class, I currently weigh 175. This would be the biggest cut that I've ever done in my life and I'm a little hesitant on how I should go about it. (Normally I'm only 2-4lbs overweight) I'm 5 foot 10 inches, probably around 10-14% body fat and the weigh in date is July 18, that gives me about 3 or so weeks to make weight. Now my normal walking weight is around 171 or so but for the past couple days I've loaded up on water to flush out my system of most of the sodium and toxins before even cutting. I don't want to lose it all through water weight but I will resort to that if thats what it takes but I really don't want to because, lets face it theres a 99.99% chance that I'll be exhasted and I don't like the odds of that .01%. I've looked around for a little bit and found that most people like to cut out carbs for weight loss. According to some websites I've looked at you can lose up to 13 pounds in 2 weeks by just cutting out almost all your carbs! (I'm going to stay pessimistic and think that a. These numbers are inflated or b. This result came from a 350lb woman) If anyone could give me any more advice on how to make weight HEALTHFULLY I would appreciate it.

EDIT: Thoughts and ideas on any natural laxitives to clear out wastes?

My last day of cutting weight was about the same time you were born. But I don't think you should have any problems. What you're talking about above doesn't sound like cutting weight though, it sounds like losing weight. I'm not sure that's what you want to do.

Generally most of the guys in High School and college that I knew would routinely cut 10lbs in the last 48 hours before a meet, or tourny. Most of the UFC guys will do more than that, often times they get IV's after they make weight to get their fluids back in and they are 15lbs heavier the day of the fight or more.

Fighters get a day though, I'm guessing you will have to weigh in the morning of your event, if it's two days I'm guessing they will give you a lb or 2 the second day? they did that for us at state.

You will probably be able to get down within say 8lbs of your weigh in weight 36 hours ahead of time, then cut out food, and the last 12-24 cut out water, and run / Sauna to get the waterweight out. When you step off the scale, get gatorade in you right away and some good food that will sit well in your stomach and not be too heavy on your stomach.

I'm sure things have gotten safer and more effective since I cut weight like this 16 years ago, but it can definately be done and is regularly.

My biggest cut was from 186 on a Monday Afternoon to 170 26 hours later after the next days wrestling practice to be ready to make 171 Wednesday morning.

I probably should've mentioned this earlier.
It is a weigh in a day BEFORE the tourney and its also a three day tourney but I think its a one shot deal, you weigh in the day before and don't have to make weight again.
Now about the cutting/losing weight, I would like to get within a good 5lbs or so before I actually start sweating out (36 hours before) the reasoning for this is because I'll be at the state team camp and the last thing I want to do is be losing a bunch of water weight while having 3-4 intense practices a day. I also get WAY to nervous about my weight when its getting close to the deadline. I like to be under by a good 2 lbs when I first wake up the morning of weigh ins, if I'm not I'm constantly running with layers, checking weight, running, checking until I'm at that point.
