Lower ABS

I checked the stickies and couldn't find anything, so please don't flame me. I am in shape and cut, with a minor exception being my lower abs. I can't for the life of me, seem to get rid of that little "pouch" of fat that subsists at my lower abdominals. My diet is so-so as far as fats and carbs go, I mean I pretty much eat whatever I want but I don't chow down on really fatty foods or anything like that. I do so many different lower AB exercises everyday and haven't been able to achieve results. Any suggestions?

The ONLY thing that will cause you to lose fat is to eat less calories than you expend. ONLY thing. You may also lose lean body mass, but this is the ONLY way.

Damnit, I don't monitor my calorie intake at all...and I'm already really lean, does that mean if I want it gone I am gonna get skinnier (assuming my caloric intake decreases)?

i think you're looking for:

http://www.bodybuilder.com

this is a fighter CONDITIONING forum, not a abercrombie model search. Who cares what your abs look like? are they strong? can you sit up in guard against resistance? do they offer adequate protection to body shots? thats why you train, right?

THANK YOU!!!
I have a big freakin gut, but I can run a half marathon with ease, and when i was training seriously I could roll forever and not need a break.
What is it with all these dudes worried about their abs? And why come to Sherdog to ask about it?

Here's what you do.

Stand with your legs wide apart.

Bend over.

Tuck your head between your knees.

Kiss ass goodbye.

Bama, can you just say a dirty word once for me? It'll be liberating, I promise, and I won't tell Jesus or anything

FallenXangel, I know the best way to get rid of that "pouch" on your "lower" abs...

Get in touch with Bill and Ted and borrow that time machine of theirs. When you get it, go back in time and select a different set of parents...

Easiest way IMO...
