Lower ab exercises... need help

I didnt know what forum to put this under, so Ill give Conditioning Discussion a try...
I am having some truble with my ab training, my upper abs are pretty mutch well trained but the lower ones are lacking some details...

So do any one of you know any good exercises for the lower abs?
and please describe them to me... THANKS!

As far as I know, there is no such thing as "lower abs". Abs are one muscle and contract as one. Unless you are talking about hip flexors or obliques.

The only way to get the lower parts of the ab muscles to show is to lose fat covering them. Or train your abs even harder so they grow huge.

There are upper and lower abs.

They do contract together, meaning you are unable to isolate segments, but to say that there are not exercises that involve a harder contraction of the upper or lower abs would be incorrect.

i find hanging ones totally kill the lower portion of your abdomen as well

OP are you judging your ab conditioning by being able to see them? if you are then body fat is the key and working "abs" probably won't do shit all and is a waste of time. If you feel that you can isolate a weakness to that area then it would be best to toss more training aimed at addressing this weakness
