losing weight

Ok, so I've started training muay thai about 5 months ago. I was not in the best shape (had a bit of a gut lol). I've lost about 20 lbs, but I've seemed to plateau. I do cardio about 5 days a week and i try to lift 3 days a week. plus training class obviously. I also do some HIIT twice a week. Any ideas on how to get past this plateau would be great. I need to lose about 18-25 more lbs. Thanks in advance.

for losing weight diet is the most important aspect, I'd say that is where you are having your issues if your weight loss stalls.

Diet is no. 1 but take a look at your routine and maybe you can make some changes.
Are the weights you're lifting progressing? Are the number of reps your doing increasing? How about your HIIT , do you do the same all the time or different distances/exercises?

For adaption to occur within the body you have to force it, if your weights/reps/exercises are always the same then you will just be maintaining not progressing.

Everytime you lift you should always try 1 more rep or add some weight.
Same with cardio, if do the same distance in the same time eventually your body will just become conditioned to it and you will not progress.

hope this is some help

Thanks for all the advice guys. I figured it was my diet. And I do switch it up sometimes, but I should start adding on more now that I think of it. Thanks again and anymore advice would be great as well.
