loose weight with MT?

hey fellas im starting MT and im over weight im about 5'6 and im 160.... am i going to shed some of those weight off in MT training???

Yes you will, but if you eat like a pig (fast food, bad food), then it's gonna be tough.

thanx but i dont eat like a pig...i try to balance my diet as much as possible!!!

If you keep your diet the same and the MT training is additional physical activity compared to your current situation: yes, you will loose weight.

Ya you will lose weight for sure. I lost like 50 pounds in like 2 months from MT and eating properly.

Similar to "fridge" I also lost 50 pounds from MT and Jiu Jitsu (but mostly from MT). I have been doing MT for about 3 years but only started to "watch" what I eat on Jan 7 this year. I am 246 pounds now (from close to 300 at 6feet tall), so yes it works but like a race car, you can put crappy fuel in the tanks, you'll gass out, litterally! Nutrition is key!

ive known fridge since he was in grade school and lemme tell ya, MT put him into the best shape ive ever seen em. the man has dedication pouring out of him. so as long as u dedicate urself like he did, u will be able to lose whatever weight u want.

lol overweight? i'm 5'7" and 160 and ppl tell me i look like i'm on drugs i look so skinny. is it all in your stomach or something?

i'm 5'7" and 135 quite small but hey it works out

i lost weight once i started my training
