1- I think your routine is so so. My first problem is that it`s just too much high intensity work. I just don`t see how you`d fit skill training/sparring in there. And in a fight no skill=gassing. Plus some other stuff.

2- My beef witht the TS is that a) he wants us to spoon feed him a routine and can`t even be bothered to do some research of his own. And b) he doesn`t just want our opinion - which really is all he can get here - since we`re not good enough for him. He feels entitled to having a qualified professional to give him a detailed routine... for free. Now if all qualified pros just trained guys for free what would they do for a living? Turning burgers at Mcdonalds?

Look through my training log and check out some of the pre fight pages. Im just starting a conditioning program again this week and plan on peeking in the begining of september. you might get some ideas and make your own program. I weight train and work skills in my off time. but Im only one weight class above yours so it shold be about your speed. some of the 145 lb guys can run alot more (and faster than I) and some of the heavier gust work more strenght and less running

I'm not a big fan of the "train longer rounds than your fight so that the fight seems easy" philosophy. Training longer rounds trains you to conserve energy for the later minutes of the round. If you do that in a fight, you're going to be holding back when you should be going hard.

^^ I agree. longer rounds have a place but a small place. Shorter rounds with less rest also have a place and sometimes its good to have a trainer turn a short round into a long one just when you think its over

Great point paolo! I'm a strenght and conditioning guy and I do this stuff for a living and I'm not willing to give more than just general info as help for a lot of the reason you post like testing a guy's strengths, agility coordination and the like so I would know where to start with an individual. To do that with me cost big bucks. That's why for less money someone can get a general plan through books videos etc... and tweek it as they see fit. The one on one time is the most expensive by far and way better for a person.
