I've been swimming 2x a week and doing the Bas workout every other day. I switch back and forth from the 2min all around to the 2min Kickboxing. I shaved off 8lbs and I have only been doing it for 2weeks. I still eat like crap too!

These CDs sure help making the cardio grind at the end of my workout more exciting. What i've found makes it even more exciting is trying to do these while having my MP3 player in my pocket, its like a combo of trying to Kickbox and hoping to god I don't break my Ipod.

Absolutely recommend this. Makes the cardio after a long day at the gym really tough and tiring. I've only done the 2min boxing one so far but im already impressed

I'm curious if anyone has taken the time to count how many punches are thrown in each round on the boxing cd.

Just did the all around workout for the first time. I did the 2 min round to evaluate my performance but I have a question. When is goes to track 2 for grappling/kicking, does this count in the all around workout?

The workout itself was tough (Push ups & Neck for me). I don't feel extremely tired though (going to push harder next time)

Yea I've been doing the complete all around workout (30 min.) for the past couple of days, I wonder how many calories are burned during that.

those push ups get tough.

I used to workout at a boxing gym, and i lost a lot of weight and gained a lot of fitness, doing group classes of plyometrics, sprints etc, i loved it. It was an old shed on a farm, there were no frills or fancy equipment, just an ex army guy/amateur boxer who kept you working hard for an hour. That place closed down and i didnt bother to look for another gym, so i gained most of the weight back. I never could run for exercise, it was boring, as was the stationary bike or stepper. Recently i got bas ruttens mma cd's and it was just like training at that old gym. No nonsense, just basic exercises at crazy intensity. I wanted to puke/ give up, but i realised that this is the only way i can train ie im not given time to think about the hurt, just do it!! The all around fighting cd is brutal. The word 'defence' is now above 'c***' in my all time list of profanities. I swear in round 5 of the 3 minute tape Bas says it so many times in a row you can hear him geting tired of saying it!

Recently got my hands on these CD's. Did 6 2min rounds shadowboxing with 16oz gloves on.

Worked up a real good sweat, these are great. Love having Bas telling me what to do!
