Kipping is using whole body movement to assist in the pullup; proponents state it increases workload because you are able to do more, turns a relatively isolated movement into a whole body movement, and trains the user to be explosive from the hips.
Opponents of kipping state its a "cheating" movement, and reduces the isolation from the major muscles involved.
With Hindu squats, you come up on your toes on the way down. Very Fatt Murey-esque.
