Introduction
Hello all. I came across this site when searching MMA exercises and decided to join. Rude not to introduce myself.
My name is Christo, an Afrikaans speaking South African. I'm a 21 year old final year student of finances at the University of Pretoria. I got interested in MMA to get into shape again. After school my studies pretty much took over and I quit most of the sport I did. I played rugby (those who don't know rugby, search for a youtube video) squash and mountain biking.
My other hobbies include playing my beloved guitars, fly fishing and fishing in general, hunting and recently I started building guitars.
So to get back to point of conditioning, I'm currently weighing 188lbs and I'm 5'10" and would like to gain some muscular mass and burn some fat. I'm interested in either Ju-Jitsu or Muay Thai, but would like to start of with some basic boxing training. Just to be perfectly clear, I have no intentions yet to compete, just to shape up.
