Integrating S&P with the Ross system.
Here is whrere I am at. I have been power lifting in one form or another for the past 22 years. Well now I'm an arthritic mess who has to really struggle to make the still traditional workouts work within my pain response (pain as in over use pain). So I did a lot of things I posted here with reshaping my workout and mindset, One of things my doctor suggested I do to have more options when it comes to sanity saving sports was ma. MY training and cardio program wasn't working so I contacted Ross and he has helped me tremendously. But I feel there is a key/oprotunity missing here concerning my unique situation. So I'm going to go the high rep, low rest, lower weight route for a while to see how it goes. I 've done high reps before and they are really hard on my joints but my approach will be different.
Loosing any speed is not a real concern of mine as I'm all ready pretty slow.
Loosing mass is a somewhat concern after all my years putting it on but I'm prepared to sacrifice for the greater goal.
Anyone here who have been in simular positions?
