stretching any time postworkout helps flush toxins etc. also, using a saunu or super-light aerobic work will do the same thing. alkalinising foods will reduce acidity. relaxation (meditation, listening to chilled music etc).

If you mean muscle soreness, then I was told use alternating hot/cold showers on the area worked. That worked very well for me.

Contrasting showers will work on anyone and everyone unless they were born with a inadequate operating nervous system lol. 30 seconds cold as you can 30 seconds as hot as you can, some say ten seconds, I fouind 30 to work the best, but it takes some geting used to.

yeh but i think minutes would be more appropriate then seconds. i cant remember the exact times given, but i think it was 5 minutes reasonably hot (not too hot to handle) and then like2 minutes as cold as possible , or something along those lines.

Nope, it wasn't five minutes, it does not take that long for either a neurological response or a physical one along the lines of the nervous system.

after a heavy squat or deadlift workout, like the next day, i like to walk on an incline treadmill, then stretch a bit after.

for contrast showers, i thought the rule of thumb was you go until you're used to the temp, so cold until it's not shocking, then hot until you're comfortable and the tingling stops, the cold again until it's not too bad, then hot again. repeat for as long as you feel like it. Some people say end on cold, some say on hot. For me, ending on cold was shitty and left me tight. And it felt unnatural. Ending on hot was fucking sweet.
