if you can't hold conversation while running, you're running too fast. is this true?

i keep hearing this. like personal trainers saying that you shouldn't run TOO fast so that you can't really talk with your bud while you are running/jogging at the same time.

for me by the time i'm at my limit of jogging, saliva starts drooling down my lips slightly, im huffing and puffing and forcing myself to keep going. my form is more or less still good though.

it depends on what kind of running u want to do. high intensity running can always be helpful and so can slower long distance running

That's just some stupid myth associated with steady state aerobics and the burning fat zone. If you want to improve your cardio, you're gonna have to push yourself plain and simple.

If you can hold a conversation, you're not running fast enough.

They are describing the 'fat burning' zone and jogging

Run as you are doing and tell them to mind their own damn business

Patent rubbish. Never let that myth be repeated again. As Ronnie said, push yourself harder and harder.

if u decide to push yourself and go higher intensity be careful not to injure yourself , and stretch and use warmups

also jogging is also a good exercise u should probably vary the kind of running you do

If you can talk, you aren't running. You're jogging.

....Yeah I always makes sure to follow this rule when I do sprints and 400m intervalls, makes it all much more comftable and relaxing....

Also make sure to bring some beer and chips to the track, some homes and some hoes and make a party out of it. This way you will never lack the motivation to go train.

Good luck.
