Ice baths?

Any of you guys do it?
I know many pros do. I went to the weight room at 2, did heavy squats, lunges, and leg press, then went on to train kick boxing and grappleing at 6. My legs were shot, so i ate a carb plentiful meal with alot of fluids within an hour of training and decided, eh, what the hell, lets try it. It was exactly an ice bath, after a warm shower i sit down in the tub and said, fudge it, and turned the cold water on full blast and just watched it fill up, what seemed to be an eternity, up to my stomach. (15-20 minutes)
I know Brock and Forrest perfer very cold/ice baths to help with inflamation of the joins and they say it helps "some-whatever-percent" better than a hot bath would as far as recovery, plus it's a challenge to get it there because ice baths take some mental toughess to sit there and let yourself be covered in 35-40 degree water.
So i did it and it wasn't to bad. Any of you guys do it? Think it helps?

Ice baths after tough workouts a great because the cold promotes an environment for healing by reducing inflammation and other chemical reactions in the body that are beneficial. Never go into a hot tub after a tough workout, it will only increase the inflammation. When you do your next ice bath, don't stop a just cold water, add ice to.
Use the hot tub 24-48 hours after training to loosen up. Ice bath immediately after workouts to reduce inflammation. LAte
