I need to get in shape ASAP

What would you guys say the best and fastest way to get into shape would be?? Obviously I am going to go on a strict diet, but what would you guys say is a good way to get in shape that won't leave me too soar the next day so I can stay consistent with it?

burpees. A lot of them spread out through the day. You'll be sore but stretch and follow a good diet to avoid that as much as possible. Good luck.

I'm in horrible shape and I am trying to be on a sports team and I cant handle the practices as of now.

Just get the cardio in, jogging, if your knees are hurting go to the elliptical

Correct nutrition and keep training hard and intense. Maybe Ross Infinite intenisty is something to think about.
