this is my workout :first set would be light for high reps to get a good pump and to warm up. the second would be heavy but for 1 rep which include isometric and eccentric. The third set would be moderate somewhere between 5 to 8 reps. The forth set would be the same as the first and the fifth would be the same as the third set. would this do it? I figured this could really confuse the muscle.

I wasn't able to post this in the right topic strength. It took me to a white screen several times and it didn't post it. So its either the fourm or maybe something wrong with my internet.

You won't confuse the muscle by doing different set schemes, you do it by changing your program over time, for example do a 5x5 program for 5 weeks, then for 3 weeks do German volume Training, then do an 8x3. You should take up a good program, hit up the S&P and you'll find a lot of help, just don't post like that and you won't be torn apart.
