I. Am. Fat.

As you can see by the title, i am fat and I am in urgent need of help getting into shape. I am now 15(young, i know) but I have been out of shape all my life, and on my moms side(the one im most like) has a history of diabetes and so far shes the only one not to be fat. I do not want diabetes and ive decided im ready to do just about anytihng to get into really good shape. any help is appreciated.

The human body does not come with an instruction manual. You're young so you're probably still in HS. Join a sport, any sport, and no matter how much you suck at it, stay with it. Read the stickies in the strength and power forum and the Diet forum. My family has a history of diabetes too, but the only one's who have it are the fat ass lazy ones who never bothered to get off teh couch long enough to live like humans are supposed to live. Sorry for the rant, but an obese 15 year old kid speaks volumes about what this nation is becoming, and it pisses me off. Don't be a statistic. Move your ass, and learn how your body works. Its the only one you get, take care of it.

Click on this link http://www.rossboxing.com/products.html and look into "The Underground Guide To Warrior Fitness". Do some of these exercises in your bedroom every night and you will develop a good foundation for your body. Highly recommended. Also, stay away from soda's and fruit drinks. Drink lots of water instead.

Running is the best advice I can give to you. You'll lose wieght, lower your risk of diabetes and increase your endurance all at the same time. Once you've gotten a bit more trim, you might want to try bear crawls.
