How's my cardio?
I have been doing BJJ for a short time, and started wrestling at school. I'm 14, 5'7, and 135. My resting heart rate is around 60. How good or bad is that compared to average?

I can roll for like 14 minutes straight without gassing, but I'm wondering if that's due to my size or my heart rate.

i dont think resting heart rate is that big of an indicator of fitness, mine is usually around 58-61 before bed and i get super tired after running a 6 minute mile on a treadmill. but im 6'0" and 195lbs
EDIT: well actually according to that chart im excellent right below athelete which i guesse would be about right.

heart rate doesnt really equate to cardio. A low resting heart rate is a good starting point because it means your heart doesnt need to work as hard but just because you have a low heart rate doesnt mean youre a cardio machine. I know girls who dont ever exercise with a resting heart rate of 60.

Try doing one the challenges in the sticky at the top, try the 100 burpee challenge and see where you score ends up.
Saying you can roll for 14 mins doesn't tell us anything, it's not a set workrate so that could be an easy 14 mins or hard ones

Whenever I do workouts, my muscles give out long before my heart does. I can go 8 minutes of a treadmill at 7 mph, and my heart rate will be like 130.

your hr is 130 after 8 minutes of running , doesnt sound that bad , ain't this more a mental problem ?
at a hr of 130 you should be going non stop imo  .
