How much training is enough?

Hello guys,

today I did 3x3min deadlifts as conditioning training, is this enough for 1 session or should I combine this with something else? Same question regarding complexes.

Enough for what?

It always pays to mix it up. Deadlifts are a fine movement, but of course the range of motion is quite short, so to benefit you ought to be lifting quite heavy. Also, think about the muscles that you're not heavily taxing, i.e. those used for, say, overhead pressing, which are doing very little. This is why circuit training/complexes works so well: you attack one muscle group, then move on to the next, then the next, then attack the first group again, etc. The muscles you're using are always relatively fresh, so your energy output isn't limited by the exhaustion threshold of any one muscle group.
