how fast can the resting HR improve?
I used to train cardio a lot, and had a resting HR below 50. Currently it's at 60 and that's after about a month of LSD training (god knows what it was prior to that...). Will the fact that my HR used to be lower mean that my HR will fall faster with LSD training, i.e. is there 'muscle memory' in the heart? Also, what do you think a decent target is for reducing resting HR while also doing a strength training program? I don't want to lose power, but I also don't care if my numbers don't go up very fast.
