How do you periodize Kickboxing/MMA?
How would you change up kickboxing routine to periodize for the year, like they do in other sports?
Frankly, I never like to do anything except hit pads for a good 4 rounds at full blast and then follow up with heavy sparring and heavy bag work. I do that a good 3-4 times per week, all year round. Anything more burns out my central nervous system. Anything less just doesn't motivate me.
