Icon4 How do you keep up your condition when you become injured?

If i get injured, or get mne inflamation, or whatever type of pain that keeps me from doing my regular cardio or even worse, my regular martial arts training, should i just try to do weight work and build up my body in the mean time, do som eyoga for flexibility an dother such things so to not waste that time that i need to take off, OR should i just rest so that my body can heal quicker and then hope to go back to training regularly soon.

I have heard people tell me both things an dthere seems to be two schools of thought on this.... Any comments? Cuz i need to know!

It depends on what you injure. If you hurt your upper body use a treadmill exercise bike run or something like that. If you hurt your lower body do light wieghts with high reps with upper body exercises. Just work around the injury however you need to.
