Yeah the turkish getups are an awesome exercise, although i've never tried them with a barbell. Had to lol at this video of a guy doing them with his wife, haha!

TGU with a barbell isn't as hard as you think it is. i thought it would be impossible, turned out to be pretty easy.
now adding weight to the BB is when it gets tougher..

I just started messing around with these. 135# is my goal, and it's a lot more of a balance and grip issue than strength.
The one thing i like about it is that it makes you pull the weight smoother and more controlled than with a double. Provided you keep your arm straight for the pull i just find it's wrist strength at the lockout to control it
