HIIT with jump rope?

It might seem like a silly question but can you do a High intensity interval training with jumping rope. and if so would you keep an elevated pace for lets say a minute and then Rest for 10 or however many seconds or would you want to keep an elevated pace for lets say a minute and then Drop the pace for lets say 10 seconds again and then back into the elevated pace?

I like to do 30 seconds intense and 30 seconds rest. If may seem like a short interval to some, but I do it for as long as I can, which some days is a long time, heh.

You can do HIIT with picking your nose if you want. As long as you are doing high intensity intervals, then you got it. Jumping rope with HIIT would be good. Give it a shot.

I'd do it with double unders or crossovers, then 'rest' by going back to normal skippping with a slow, easy rythymn.
