1. Take your pulse for a full minute, at rest.
2. If it's 60-100, your pulse/heart rate is considered normal (according to medical standards).
3. If it's below 60 and you are young and exercise regularly, it is a sign of good conditioning. Lance Armstrong's is reported to be sub30.
4. If it's over 100 at rest, you might have a problem. Make sure you aren't on caffeine or other stimulants and taht you are at rest. Take it again. If it's still > 100, go see a doctor.
