Help Gaining Weight Needed!

Just wondering if anyone out here had any tips to gain weight safely and permintly. I've always had a hard time gaining weight. I've tried everything possible, and can only gain maybe 3 or 4lbs that I seem to quickly burn off doing nothing but sparring.

When I first got into Muay Thai, I was 6'2 154lbs (Stick boy, I know). Now 4 years later, I'm about 6'4 and about 179. I've been this weight for almost 2 years and can't seem to add anymore.

I've tried eating a lot. That helped for a very short time but made me feel really lazy, even though I ate really well. Never any junk food.

I've tried Creatine, Whey protein etc etc. I'll never do those again.

So from here I'm not sure what else to do. I've spoken to trainers and they all say I should be happy with my weight, but according to Health Canada, I could weigh 205 and still be really healthy.

I'd want to be around the 190 mark. I don't think anything above that is possible for me.

Serious replies only please.

Help is greatly appreciated.

I was tall and thin as well. Prob about the same weight when I was younger. I hit like a whip. I had alot of power just based on technique. If it is to impress the ladies or (ahem) the other ladies, then maybe you should lift a few times a week. Work up to heavier sets with less reps. Support it with good nutrition.

Do not put on vast amounts of weight in a short time. It may lead to hyperplasmia where your fat cells split. Once you have a fat cell, you have it.

Self-love (masterbation) can put a hurting on protein levels. If your wrists are bigger than your biceps, you might want to lay off a little.
