Apply pressure to the roof of your mouth with your tongue for five seconds, then apply pressure to the point above your nosa/between you eyes with your finger for five seconds. Repeat for thirty seconds or more until sinuses clear. I don't remember where I read this trick or why it works, but it does.

You can also try metholatum.

I think you'll probably need a nasal decongestant. Make sure it's a non-drowsy formulation.

Talk to a pharmacist (explain your situation) and read the package.

...if you didn't already have your fight, that is.

It has something to do with rocking a bone in your nasal passage back and forth. It drains your sinuses pretty quick. I don't know who came up with it, but he's alright in my book.

Found the article. It was a www.menshealth.com article. "18 tricks to teach your body"

Clear your stuffed nose!
Forget Sudafed. An easier, quicker, and cheaper way to relieve sinus pressure is by alternately thrusting your tongue against the roof of your mouth, then pressing between your eyebrows with one finger. This causes the vomer bone, which runs through the nasal passages to the mouth, to rock back and forth, says Lisa DeStefano, D.O., an assistant professor at the Michigan State University college of osteopathic medicine. The motion loosens congestion; after 20 seconds, you'll feel your sinuses start to drain.
