2 It`s not whether it`s more or less demanding. Your workout has to be the right intensity for you. Designing something hard is easy, eg, take a sandbag, shoulder it 10 times, then do 10 burpees, then shoulder the sandbag 10 more times, repeat till you vomit. That`s hard, and it took me 10 seconds to think about it. However designing a program with the right exercises, progression and periodisation is way more tricky.
3 You do crossfit so you are more in need of advice than the TS. Talk about quality over quantity...
***EDIT***
Also, number 4, LSD vs HIIT threads have been done to death. They are 2 different training protocols and achieve 2 different things, it`s like apples and oranges.
5 "You train slow you perform slow, you train fast you perform fast"? You could have really avoided saying something so stupid.

1. Thank you I am aware of that. I'm just giving TS an alternative to running. And I really doubt anyone can reach full potential in one year with Crossfit. Guys with the highest scores in the gym are in INCREDIBLE shape and have been doing it for years.
2. Thank you I am also aware of that. He's a grappler and so am I. Just giving him an option that worked for me for OUR SPECIFIC GOAL. It's up to him if he wants to take it or not. If you watch "fight gone bad explained" the coach gives a pretty technical breakdown. Far from just random shit you just throw together.
3. Why? Veteran Crossfitters are one of the most well rounded athletes I've witnessed personally. I'm not saying it's the best thing eva but again, an option for the TS.
4. What? I didn't even mention those protocols in my post.
5. So would you run 10 km to train for a 100 m sprint? If you want to be bigger and stronger would you rip out 45 kipping pull-ups or 10 sets of 5 rep weighed pull-ups? And do you really have to call me stupid to make yourself feel smart?
What suggestions do you have? I'm open minded and I'm always up for exploring new ideas.
