Hands shaking after punching?

I seem to get this every time after a hard session of pads/boxing. My right hand especially shakes uncontrollably. My arms the next day also ache. It's just, the guy's I train with don't seem to experience the same. Also, I'm the hardest puncher at my club so the impact I'm creating is much more also, is this a reason? has anyone any experience of this? it's like nerve damage or something.

Yes it is nerve damage and you will die soon...

Just kidding. If memory serves me right it is your body that is asking you to fill up your glucose storage. Eat some simple carbs and the problem should be solved.

I get this all the time, particularly badly. Funny thing is that I used to have to sign in to my MT class after we'd finished, my signature looked worse than Muhammed Ali's after three days on amphetamines; many interesting questions and concerned looks from people!

But yes, it's an energy problem, get some sugars, carbs down ye and you'll be right as rain. It also means your buddies aren't training hard enough!

It ain't nerve damage, unless you're getting your brain stem mashed up during sparring, in which case, you're a Parkinson's bastard and you're already doomed.

Hmmm that's strange, cause I eat pasta and such before I begin my classes. My class however lasts for around 2 hours. Maybe I need a quick intke of something during class? I'm also diabetic BTW

your body is usually starved for carbs after you workout. You might want to make sure you're taking in some carbs then.

Dunno if it is the carbs. I get it if I do a hard session on the bag or mits and I haven't done it in a while. My hands will be shaking and the next day my fingers will be weak and have difficulty in moving independantly. I also have a hard time typing at work the following day. It doesn't last long though. Regular training like this eliminates the symptoms I get the next day, but I my hands still shake after a mits session.

However, my hands shake most of the time anyway.
