grappling dummy

Anyone use a grappling dummy for conditioning? Throws, slams...whatever

If so, do you have any suggestions on which to buy. I ran across one on the UFC website, but my first inclination is to believe that this may be cheap quality and/or overpriced. Any thoughts? Here is the UFC grappling dummy: http://ufcstore.seenon.com/detail.ph...5303d0442f70c0

Well, it doesn't seem incredibly expensive. I have a buddy who does this kind of training, he just uses and old heavy bag. When it splits he duct tapes it. Its heavy and it gets the job done for him.

I might use a heavybag, I think this thing is only 50lbs, but I like its shape.

Could you just make a big ass sandbag? It'd probably be a lot cheaper and you might be able to taper the shape like the ufc bag with some creative duct tape use.

Combat Sports International has some options that seem more affordable from a feature/weight perspective.

Don't own one, but I just ran across them while checking out their gear.
