Go to the gym even if I am SICK as hell?

I have the flu, a sinus infection and I am aching like hell. Today I am supposed to do shoulders (lift weights) today. Should I just take some painkiller (Theraflu, Aleve) and get my ass in the gym and just tough it out? OR take a day or two off?

Stay at home man...it'll just take you longer to recover (and hinder MORE workouts) if you keep pushing yourself.

Iv tried training sick before... its useless, you'd be doing yourself a disservice to not stay home

it's pretty much guaranteed that if you weightlift when you're SICK as hell, you won't get anything accomplished except possible injuries and aggravating your sickness. whenever i get sick i just really work on my flexibility since that's not exerting.

You sound like me. Craving the gym even when you're sick. Few things I hate more in this life than taking a days off but it has to be done every now and then.
