Stomach aches after running?

Sometimes after my runs, i get these annoying stomach aches. I dont get them anymore, but when i first started running earlier this summer I used to get them after i ran. Anyone else used to get these, or does anyone have any info on what could cause this?

It's called runner's bowel. You'll have some 'gastric distress' while starting out running - something to do with the jiggling of your giblets. It goes away for the most part after the first couple of weeks, but even the best will suffer the odd relapse now and then. I remember reading how, at around the 18 mile mark of the London marathon, one famous runner ended up jumping into someone's garden and laying down some fresh fertiliser.

Here's a link from a a running website (coolrunning.com) that talks about stomach stitch; causes; and remedies. Worth a read if you experience them...
