Foot flexibility

How can improve flexibility of my foot. When I attempt to point my toes, my foot does not point flush with my shin. It only goes out to about 130 degrees. While on my knees, and attempting to rest on my heels, my feet have to curl in, as opposed to pointing straight out.

Could part of my problem be that I cannot structurally do it, since I have flat feet?

When I started jujitsu, my feet weren't flexible enough either.

Every night, try to spend five minutes in "Child Pose", and then as you get better, try to spend a couple minutes kneeling with your butt on your heels looking at the ceiling.

Over a period of months, your feet will start to get more flexible.
