Icon4 Help fitting conditioning into my routine.

If this is my average training regime and I want to addd in extra conditioning drills on some days as extra sessions when would you suggest doing so?

Monday- Weights (am)
Tuesday- Thai boxing (pm)
Wednesday- Rest
Thursday- Weights (am)
Friday- Thai boxing (pm)
Saturday- Hill sprints
Sunday- Thai boxing (pm)

I want to add in more conditioning
• Intervals once per week
• A brief GPP workout
• 1-2 mile as fast as possible

What does your weight training look like. I usually like to do my distance running after weight training that is very taxing on the legs for active recovery. GPP you can do in the morning if you like (big thread on this ), The other interval session is hard to say, do you have a light MT class each week compared to the others? do you think you will be able to do intervals and MT after?

I dont know, I have never done anything on the day of muay thai classes, I could give it a go and see how I get on. Its MT classes I go to and you dont know how hard or easy its going to be until you get there and start getting trained.

OK wasn't sure i know my MMA class is 3 times a week and saturday is the light day so it's best to fit HIIT on that day cause i will still be able to do well in class.

Try Tues AM intervals and Thurs PM distance, with brief GPP in the mornings any day
