I prefer HIIT on LSD. Whoa dude, like....wait, what?
And did you seriously TTT your thread after 5 minutes? I won't answer your question now just for that. Nevermind the fact that you haven't given sufficient information about your goals and what not.

Go with some form of interval training. Actually, on your off days get on a treadmill and do this:
5 minutes on 5 miles an hour
5 minutes on 6 miles an hour
5 minutes on 7 miles an hour
5 minutes on 8 miles an hour
5 minutes on 9 miles an hour
5 minutes on 10 miles an hour
I can jog 6.5-MPH for one hour in steady state pretty easy, but I haven't gotten past the 5 minute @ 9MPH 25 minute mark with the above set.

Yes.
LSD or HIIT? The answer is always yes.

Dude..did you steal this program from me (lol)?
This is exactly what I do on my off lifting days. I do a one minute rest between each 5 minute session.

Generally I would recommend HIIT over LSD simply because it trains your anaerobic system to a much greater extent, which should be your primary focus for combative sports.
What's your present level of fitness? HIIT is generally more intense (part of the name, duhhh) and if your body is not used to weightlifting, HIIT will very likely hinder your gains. What I do now is usually perform LSD with a heavy day in the weight room, especially for squats and deadlifts, since it's easy to do on a treadmill, eliptical, or bike. I find it also greatly reduces my DOMS for the next day. Then I do HIIT on separate days.
But why only do running? You can certainly do bw intervals, burpees are pure evil and one of my favorite exercises, swimming now that it's summer, etc...
